He possessed a great sense of humor, which he shared generously, brightening many lives throughout his journey.
As an avid outdoorsman, Wilburn found immense joy in hunting and fishing, pursuits that allowed him to connect deeply with nature and enjoy the serenity it offered. His passions extended beyond the outdoors to include a particular fondness for watching CNN, where he remained informed about global events, engaging in discussions with friends and family alike. Most importantly, Wilburn treasured the time spent with his family and friends, who were central to his life and happiness.
Wilburn is survived by his three children: son Justin Trey Edwards and his spouse Claire, daughter Rachael Johnson and her spouse Johnathan, and son Michael Edwards. He was also a dedicated grandfather, cherished by his grandchildren Madilyn, William, Austin, Macie, Laekyn, and Austin, as well as a proud great-grandfather to Kaelyn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Wanda Edwards; former spouse, Tammy Edwards; and sister, Nancy. His legacy of love and laughter will remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind, as they continue to share memories of the warmth he brought into their lives. Wilburn Elwood Edwards Jr. will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will always remember his generous spirit and loving nature.
