Peggy Ann Caldwell

Peggy Caldwell passed away peacefully on June 26th, 2023, after a long battle of suffering and pain. She was 73 years old when she went to meet Jesus and dance on the streets of gold.

She was born on June 23rd, 1950, in Webster Parish, Louisiana to Marvin and Marie Dragland. The second oldest of seven children she learned quickly to love cooking so that she wouldn't have to do outdoor farm chores. This eventually led her to Louisiana Tech to become a dietician and find the love of her life. Following her graduation from college and then marriage to Lynn Caldwell in 1971 she found herself in Tennessee. After having two children they moved to Virginia. Where she raised her children in the nurturing love of God and family.

She loved to crochet specially for babies. She shared her love of music with the world by teaching anyone who wanted to learn.

Peggy was the proud mother of two children and grandmother to ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She treasured every moment in her role as Mawmaw and showered her grandchildren with love and affection.

Peggy is survived by her husband Lynn Caldwell. Her children Paul & Christina Caldwell and Dorothy & Vernon Hubbard. Her grandchildren Kendra & Joseph Dugger, Lauren, Micah, Nathan, Timothy, Olivia, Josiah, Isaiah, Moriah & Tyjeer. And Her great grandchildren Garrett, Addison, Brooklyn and Justus. And Her siblings Robert & Joan Dragland, Michael Dragland, Mary Denny, Thomas & Lynnie Dragland, John & Sharon Dragland, David & Lynnette Dragland. Also, by many niece's & nephew's.

Funeral services entrusted with Atkinson Funeral Home of Malvern, Arkansas. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Gospel Lights Church in Malvern. Funeral service will follow starting at 11:00 AM at Gospel Lights Church, with interment at Rest Haven Cemetery after services conclude. Online condolences can be made at www.atkinsonfuneralhome.net
