Mildred Juanita Morehead

Mildred “Juanita” Morehead, age 91, of Midway Community passed away September 29, 2022.

She was born April 7,1931 to Jeffie and Willie Seymore. Juanita was a member of Midway Missionary Baptist Church and loved to tend to her flowers and work in the yard.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years (William Tee Morehead), her parents and two siblings.

Survivors include her daughter, Regina Grant (husband Larry) of Midway, son, Don Morehead (wife Amy) of Friendship, sister, Wanda Piechocinski and brother, Gene Seymore both of California, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Midway Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, October 3, 2022, at 2:00pm. Funeral services will also be on that day beginning at 2:00pm also at the Midway Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Fred Etheridge officiating. Burial will be at Neighbors Cemetery following the service. Pallbearers will be Brian Grant, Eric Grant, Taylor Morehead, Ian Butler, Joe Hartley, Jackie Davis, and Kelly Hodges. Honorary pallbearers will be Men of Midway Missionary Baptist Church.
