Lois Yates

Lois Marie (Wilson) Yates, 80 of Malvern, passed away on November 6, 2024. She was born February 9, 1944, to Lois and Lorene Wilson in Malvern, Arkansas.

She attended school in Malvern where she met her high school sweetheart, John. They were married 44 years before his death in 2011. She worked at Bank of Malvern until she retired, her and John were members of the First Assembly of God Church in Malvern, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School.

 She and John had nieces and nephews who lovingly called them Uncle John and Aunt Lois. She never had children but spent time nurturing her beloved cats and dogs. She would take in any animal she thought homeless. 

 She was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents, her sisters, Mary Lee English, Shirley House and Judy Langley. Lois will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
