Linda Gray

Linda Juanell Gray, age 68, of Donaldson passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at CHI St. Vincent with her loving husband of nearly 48 years by her side. She was born May 27, 1952, the daughter of the late Hartsell and Oveta Foreman Savell. Linda was a graduate of Ouachita High school and Henderson State University where she received her Bachelor’s in Sociology. During her working years she was employed as a Social Worker for the state of Arkansas, owned and operated the Joan convenient store, but mainly was a stay-at-home mom raising her two sons. She was a member of the CATC Board of Directors for the last 13 years, she enjoyed serving as a member, and thought a lot of her fellow board members. Even after her health declined, she still looked forward to attending the meetings. Linda was a member of Scenic View Baptist Church in Troutdale Oregon, she was Saved and Baptized at an early age and would often share of the experience with her family. Linda loved to hunt and fish and be outdoors. Among her favorite things to do outdoors were to squirrel hunt with a dog and fish for crappie and bream. While her health allowed, she was an avid bowler and played on several leagues. Survivors include her husband, Loy “June Bug” Gray JR, sons Loy Gray III (Alisha), Curtis Gray (Heather); step grandson Kirtlynn Cotten all of Donaldson; her sister Jeanette Conboy of Arkadelphia; her brothers, Jerry Savell (Nancy) of Caddo Valley, Bo Savell (Ruthaleen) of Lamar, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Ouachita Cemetery in Donaldson, AR on February 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
