Lawrence Linteau

Larry was born to Claudia Doretha Hawkins and Weston Blackman. Larry grew up between Arkansas and Michigan and he was a proud graduate from Pontiac Northern High where he was on the football team. After graduating, Larry enlisted in the US Army where he served in The Vietnam War. After completing his army tour, he took a break from the military to pursue his passion of music. After several years of pursuing music, he wanted more stability and made the choice to enlisted in the US Navy. He went to college at the University Maryland, University College where he received his master’s degree in marketing. He never stopped pursuing his musical passion to the very end.

Larry leaves behind to celebrate his life, to his beloved wife Rebecca, sons Michael (Veronica), and
Robert (Stamatis), daughters Ramona (JB) and Felicia (Poil). He joins his son Christopher in God's house. He also leaves behind his mother Claudia Love, his brother Ashur (Ki), and sisters, Lillie (Robert), Sonja, and Beatie. He is preceded in death by his father Weston Blackman, and brothers, Kenneth, Keith, and Willie. Larry is also survived by 4 aunts, 7 nieces, 13 nephews, and 3 grandsons.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 7, 2019 at The St.John the Baptist Catholic Church in Malvern at 11:00 AM with rosary starting at 10:30 AM
