James Anderson Posey

James Posey, 84 of the Brown Springs Community, passed away on December 10, 2024. He was born on February 24, 1940 to Anderson and Josephine Posey in Donaldson, Arkansas. 

James is preceded in death by his wife Louise, Sister Marjorie, Brother Bill, and Granddaughter Chanda.

James is survived by his two sisters Sue Jackson of Bismarck and Jean Tugwell of Midway and his two daughters Sherri Posey of Houston, Texas, and Theresa (Eric) Simmons of Friendship, along with five Grandchildren, six Great Grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday December 20, 2024 at the Atkinson Chapel from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Macedonia Cemetery near Dalark, beginning at 2:00 PM. Online condolences can be made at www.atkinsonfuneralhome.net
