Helen Stewart

Helen Wilson Stewart, 91, of Hot Springs passed away at her home on December 9, 2019. She was born in Hot Spring County, Arkansas to John Raymond Wilson and Gladys Thornton Wilson on May 15, 1928.Helen was a survivor of the 1930s Polio epidemic. She was a graduate of Bismarck High School. She lived most of her adult life in Dallas, Texas and worked for the city of Dallas as a secretary. Helen was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She retired to Hot Springs and became a member of the Women’s Welcome Club of Hot Springs. Helen loved the finer things in life and will be greatly missed.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Suzanne Stewart; and brothers, Thomas Wilson, Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Wilson, Dr. John B. Wilson, Colonel Carroll Wilson, and Dr. James Artemus Wilson.
She is survived by her sister, Joyce (John Sr.) Ladd of Bismarck.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be Michael Bruce Wilson, Kason Ladd, John Wilson, Michael H. Wilson, Toney Wilson and Timothy Todd. Interment will be at Prairie Bayou Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Rocky’s Coroner in Hot Springs.
