Helen Louise Cobler

Helen Louise Cobler (Swain), 92 of Malvern Arkansas, passed away on June 24, 2022. Helen was born August 22, 1929 to Geems Edward and Charlene Swain in Booneville, Ar. After graduating high school in Oklahoma in 1947 and working for Southwestern Bell; she met and married Leonard Charles Cobler, and in 1959 move to Malvern, Arkansas, and after living on Clem Street, and Dogwood Trail, she built the home in which she resided the remainder of her life in Royal Oaks, during the past 62 years that she has called Malvern her home, she served the community through participation in several organizations including the Exceptional Center, Human Rights, Junior Service League and ESA Sorority; and has been a faithful and beloved member of the First Baptist Church.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leonard Charles Cobler of 56 years and 7 months.
Helen is survived by her 3 children: Gary Michael Cobler, David Anthony Cobler, and Susan Lynn Cobler; and the grandmother of Judd Daniel Cobler and Austen Bryce Cobler; and the great-grandmother of Alexa Madeline Cobler, Maxwell Pierce Cobler and Emilia Collette Cobler and Natalie Juliana Cobler.
Visitation will be held of Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Graveside service will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Hogan Cemetery in Locust Grove, Oklahoma at 12:00 pm. Online condolences can be made at www.atkinsonfuneralhome.net.
