George Randell Smith

George Randell Smith, 65, of Traskwood, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022, in Conway, Arkansas. He was born June 4, 1957, in Davenport, Iowa, to the late Katherine Virginia Smith-Earles and Bud Smith/Alvin M. Earles.

He is preceded in death by both parents, his son, Jeconia Smith and his siblings, Kenneth Dwight Smith, and Arlan M. Earles.

George is survived by his children, Savannah Jean Smith and Earles Whitehorse Smith; Holly Deanna Smith, siblings, Ivan Lee Smith, Brad Earnest Eugene Earles and Martha Diane Dixson; cousins, Jessica (Dylan) Montgomery and Scotty (Kristy) and many family and friends.

George is a Navy veteran. George worked in the shipyards and worked on Big Rock Interchange in Little Rock, Arkansas and was a master carpenter by trade and was known by his siblings as ‘Captain George’ because they would tease about being “in charge” of all their ideas and schemes.
