Elaine Ruth Struble, 95, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Coleman, Michigan, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2023. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 17, 1927 to the late Frank and Zetta (Fields) Thomas and graduated from Perrysburg High School in Perrysburg, Ohio. Later in life she married Stanley Struble where they lived in Clare and Farwell and after retiring moved to Coleman. She was a member of Coleman Faith United Methodist Church. In 2020 due to unexpected health issues, Elaine’s family moved her to Hot Springs so she could be closer to family who could give her the additional assistance she needed. She had many hobbies throughout her years always trying something new, but especially loved sewing, quilting with the Nazarene Church quilt group “Quilts of Love” ministry, knitting, crocheting, and her years helping as a leader in the local Clare County 4-H program.
