In Loving Memory of Darrest “Dee” Lathrop

Dee Lathrop, age 90, of Hot Springs, AR, went to be with her Heavenly Father on July 6, 2022. She was born on June 5, 1932 in Turrell, AR to the late Evie Andersen and James Lathrop.
Dee as she was known most was a passionate person and had a very strong personality, she raised 9 children on her own, and had 21 grandchildren. A nurse and business woman, that loved to cook and bake, she wrote thousands of notes and letters to people she loved, she also liked to write and call politicians whenever there were issues that she strongly believed in for change. She was a servant of our Lord, our creator, and Jesus our Savior!

She is survived by her children, Michelle Higgings, Constance Hunter, Myrtis Vasquez, Russell Weston, Dr. Jacques Weston, and Vernie Weston, including their spouses, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and her favorite person on earth was her grandson PJ and Lillard his Australian Shepherd, our four legged member of the family.
