On the morning of April 5, 2021 Cora “Ann” Annette Hudson, of Leola, Arkansas passed away suddenly at the age of 77, in her home. She was born on September 27, 1943 in Rolla Arkansas on her family’s farm.
Called to Heaven before her were her husband of 34 years, Vernon Hudson, her parents, Emmett and Hazel Jordan, her brother, Tommy Jordan, and Grandson Brandon Reynolds.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Hudson and two daughters Melissa Reynolds (William) and Tracie Grant (Jerry). Grandchildren; Shawn Reynolds and his daughter Breanna, Jerri Thomas (Mike) and their children Alexis and Jase, Jesse Grant, Sammy Grant, Jill Cato (Jordan) and her sons Jasper and Morgan.
She was the sister of Mary McCool (Kenneth) and sister-in-law to Alene Smith. Nieces; Kim Anderson, Dana Brownfield, Lanette Whitt and Leslie Ray. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Simple pleasures in life brought great joy to Ann. She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children and grandchildren and referred to as Mimi. Her heart and door were always open. She always had words of wisdom and comfort as well as many snacks and treats. Her home was a place where everyone was loved and accepted.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Atkinson Chapel from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Graveside service will be Friday, April 9, 2021 at Lono Cemetery at 2:00 P.M.
