Christopher S. Carter

Christopher Shaine Carter, 38, lost his life due to life-long

depression at the age of 38.

Shaine is survived by his mother Kristina Johnson, children, Aubrianna, Shelby,

Ainsley and Collin, a brother Nick Carter and sister Taleese Gregory and

grandmother Patricia Hake.

He is preceded in death by his father Kenneth Carter, his grandparents Jean

Speer, Dean Carter, Christopher Puckett, great grandparents Major and Linnie

Puckett and Louella Fortner.

Shaine loved being outdoors and fishing. He loved traveling. He loved to be in the

kitchen and cooking. He loved listening to music. When he loved someone, he

loved with his whole heart.

Shaine battled depression most of his life, although he was full of life. On the

outside he smiled easily. He was energetic, ambitious, outgoing and funny. He had

a great sense of adventure. Even being so full of life, he struggled seeing how

loved he was.

He will be missed as a piece of our hearts will always be with him. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Online condolences can be made at www.atkinsonfuneralhome.net
