Carolyn Joyce Beck, a cherished soul born on March 15, 1954, in Malvern, Arkansas, passed from this life into the presence of the Heavenly Father on January 15, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Her journey was marked by hard work, unforgettable laughter, and a boundless love for all of God’s creatures.
A diligent professional, Carolyn dedicated her career to the office at Arkansas Rebar, where she was known not only for her competence but also for her great sense of humor. She embodied an admirable blend of humility and passion, always radiating kindness and warmth. Those lucky enough to cross her path experienced her welcoming spirit, which made every interaction feel like a treasured encounter.
Education played a pivotal role in Carolyn’s life, having earned an associate degree in accounting. This foundational knowledge served her well throughout her career, where she expertly navigated the complex world of numbers with grace and diligence. Yet, it was her ability to connect with others that truly defined her character. Carolyn was never one for boasting; rather, she preferred to shine through her actions, always offering a supportive hand to friends and a loving presence to her family.
Her heart was vast enough to encompass her great love for animals. Carolyn's home was alive with the joy of her chickens, the gentle presence of her miniature horse, and the unwavering companionship of her beloved dog, Khloee. These delightful creatures brought her immense joy and served as reflections of her nurturing spirit.
Carolyn is survived by a loving family that includes her devoted husband, Dale Beck, and their children: Jeff Beck, Dimity (Tyson) Efird, and Angelite (Robby) Head. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Haydan Efird, Vanessa Wofford, Lewcus Beauchamp, and the four great-grandchildren who will carry her memories forward, enriching the lives of those around them. Surrounded by a host of other family and friends, Carolyn's spirit will live on in the stories shared and the laughter that echoes through the hearts she touched.
She now joins the embrace of those who preceded her in death—her parents, Olcy and Joyce Schoggin, along with her grandson, Casey Glenn.
In honor of the life of Carolyn Joyce Beck, visitation will be held at Atkinson Funeral Home Inc, located at 126 E 2nd St, Malvern, Arkansas, on January 21, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will take place on January 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by a graveside service at Donaldson at 12:15 PM, a day when family and friends will gather to celebrate the light that was Carolyn's life.
As we remember Carolyn, let us carry forward her legacy of kindness, her joyful spirit, and the love that she so generously bestowed upon all who knew her.
