Barbara Ann Schodowski

Barbara Ann Schodowski, 68, of Malvern, Arkansas died on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. She was born on November 15, 1952, at the Ladd Airforce Base, Alaska. She was the daughter of the late Dolphus and Anna Belle Harrison.

She was a member of Saint Luke Lutheran Church of Malvern. Barbara is survived by her husband, Gene Schodowski of 49 years, they married on June 17, 1972; Their son, Tim Schodowski and his wife April Schodowski of Tyler, TX; Brother, Joe Harrison of Branson, MO. Grandma Barb to three grandsons, Chayton (19), Archer (15) and Leo (11).

She is preceded in death by both parents and brother, Jim Harrison of Brown Springs, AR.

Barb was very active in the community; she was a contributing member of several service organizations and enjoyed her public outreach work for Atkinson Funeral Home. She enjoyed her arts and crafts and making handmade gifts for friends and family. Barb was renowned for her cooking and baking skills and was always ready with a tasty dish for potluck. She had many special gifts, especially making others feel special and cared for. She was a loving and giving wife, mother, a wonderful friend to anyone and a doting grandmother.

Services for Barbara will be held at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 9, 2021, with visitation at 2:00 to 4:00 pm and services following at 4:00 pm with Brother Henry Thompson officiating.
