Arthur C. Graves

Arthur C.Graves, 94, of Hot Springs passed away August 11th at Pines Nursing Home. He was born July 2, 1925, in El Dorado, Arkansas, graduated from Magnolia High School in 1942 and later at the Merchant Marine Academy. He served as a 2nd Lt. in WWII. He retired after 45 years with AP&L. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hot Springs.
His parents, Arthur C. Graves Sr. and May Dell Graves, sisters, Billie Jeanne Kirkpatrick, and Eloise Marshall, and his wife of 54 years, Jo Graves, preceded him in death.
Survivors are his three children, Arthur Graves III, Robin (Graves) Tallant, Robert Graves, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several other relatives.
A visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel in Malvern. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at 10:00 am at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Pounders officiating. Burial following will be private.
