Cheryl Ann Hays

Cheryl Ann Hays, 64, of Clarksville, AR passed away on February 8th, 2023 in Fort Smith,

Arkansas. She was born December 29th, 1958 in Austin, TX to Jeanette Fears (Jones). She was preceded in death by her mother Jeanette, a sister Barbie Holt, and her loving husband Cecil Hays. She is survived by her four children Keith (Laura) Robbins of Glen Rose, Candy (Casey) Jackson of Bismarck, Lacey

(Aaron) Stepp of Clarksville, and Scott (Autumn) Robbins of Hector. Surviving grandchildren Aimee

Robbins of Malvern, Matt (Kayla) Robbins of Malvern, Lindsay (Toby) Morales of Malvern, Tyler (Claire)

Jackson of Bismarck, Caleb (Megan) Jackson of Bismarck, Landon Robbins of Hot Springs, Aubrey Ann

Stepp of Clarksville, and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Pam Parker of

Malvern, Linda Hunt of Hot Springs, Tommy Holt of Malvern, Wade Harvey of Hawaii, Bobby Holt of

California, and Dawn (Thom) Whitaker of Tennessee.

Cheryl loved spending time with her family whom she loved relentlessly. She was a gifted interior decorator and enjoyed working with flowers and landscaping. She adored shopping at the G.W.

and traveling with her “Beast” friend Lassie. Her greatest joy was spending time with her Boo Bear

Landon.

Cheryl had a quick wit and a bright energetic personality. She could always find humor even in

the darkest of times. If you were lucky enough to be in her close circle you knew without a doubt you

were loved. She was always there with a prayer, a hug, an encouraging word, or a home-cooked meal.

She loved the Lord and always looked to Him for her strength.

Pallbearers will be Thom Whitaker, Tyler Jackson, Caleb Jackson, Matt Robbins, Toby Morales,

and Junior Rowton. Honorary pallbearers will be Landon Robbins, Roy, and David and Melissa Keesee.

Scott Efird will be officiating. Visitation will be at Atkinson Funeral home on Friday February 10th, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday February 11th, 2023 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations to help with Cheryl’s final expenses.
